What we will not do
The model answers from the books provided to it — not from its own training, and not from the open internet. Its role is to help you find and understand the material, not to generate new Islamic knowledge.
Where our sources genuinely differ on a ruling, Baseera presents each position with its reasoning rather than choosing one for you, and leaves the conclusion where it belongs — with you and the scholars you trust.
When the library doesn't cover a question, Baseera says so plainly instead of producing something plausible. A refusal is not a failure — it is the system working.
Baseera is not a Mufti, Sheikh, or replacement for scholarship. For personal or consequential matters — marriage, divorce, inheritance, financial dealings — consult a qualified scholar you trust.
Who built this
Srabon Mohammed Ratan and Mohammad Fahim Uddin Alvi, both graduates of the University of Toronto in Data Science. Years of research, source evaluation, and refinement went into this — with guidance sought from qualified scholars where appropriate. The work continues.
