Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 August 2026

Short version: there are no accounts, no ads, and no tracking. We don't want your personal data and we don't collect it.

This page is translated for convenience. In case of any difference in meaning, the English version applies.

What we do not collect

No account, name, email, or password is required to use Baseera. We do not run advertising, we do not sell data, and we do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Your questions

The question you type is sent to our server, matched against our source library, and forwarded — together with the retrieved passages and the recent messages of your current conversation — to OpenAI's API, which generates the answer. OpenAI's handling of that data is governed by their own policies. Please avoid including personal details you would not want processed this way.

Your conversation

Conversations are not stored on our servers or linked to any profile. Recent messages are held in your browser so follow-up questions make sense, and they are cleared when you start a new chat or close the page.

Voice input

If you use the microphone, the audio you record is sent to our server and on to OpenAI purely to convert it into text. We do not store the recording; only the transcribed text appears in your question box, where you can edit or delete it before sending.

Stored in your browser

Only your preferences: light or dark mode, and your chosen language. These contain no personal information and never leave your device.

When you contact us

If you use the form on our Contact page, the name, email address, and message you provide are delivered to our inbox through the form service FormSubmit, which processes them under its own policy. We use that information only to reply, and we do not add you to any mailing list.

Technical logs

Our hosting and network providers (Railway and Cloudflare) process standard technical information such as IP addresses and request times in order to serve the site and protect it from abuse, retained under their own policies.

Children

Baseera is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the date above will be updated. Questions about privacy: see the Contact page.
