NIYYAH — OUR INTENTION
Islamic knowledge should not be a luxury.
Anyone who sincerely wants to learn about Islam should be able to, without a subscription standing in the way.
We saw Islamic AI platforms that were beautifully built but locked their most useful features behind a monthly fee — and others that were free but whose underlying content did not meet the standard we were looking for. We wanted neither compromise.
Why should someone have to pay simply to learn about their religion?
That question, and one other — if AI is going to answer questions about Islam, how do we make sure those answers are grounded in trustworthy sources? — became the foundation of this project.

By the grace of Allah, Baseera's core knowledge experience is free to use. This is not an afterthought — it is part of the mission. We pray it can be a form of ongoing benefit, and that Allah accepts it from us.
Answers are grounded in trusted books within our knowledge base rather than unrestricted internet information. The purpose is not the largest possible database — it is a carefully controlled and trustworthy one.
AI makes searching, retrieving, and understanding this material easier — helping people reach the sources, never deciding what Islam is.
Our hope
That a student can search for a hadith without worrying about the cost. That someone new to Islam can explore the Sunnah without a subscription. That anyone can ask a question and be directed toward the underlying source material.
We do not claim perfection, we do not claim that technology can replace scholars, and we do not claim that an AI system possesses religious authority. Our responsibility is to build carefully, use trustworthy sources, be transparent, and keep improving. How we do that is on the About page.
May Allah make this effort beneficial, protect it from error, guide us toward what is correct, and accept it from us.
