Terms of Service

Last updated: 15 August 2026

By using Baseera (baseeragpt.com), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

This page is translated for convenience. In case of any difference in meaning, the English version applies.

1. What Baseera is

Baseera is a free, AI-assisted tool for exploring Islamic source material. It retrieves passages from a curated library and uses an AI model to present them in response to your question.

2. Not religious authority

Baseera is not a Mufti, Sheikh, or scholar, and its answers are not fatwas. For personal or consequential matters — worship, marriage, divorce, inheritance, financial dealings, or anything requiring a specific ruling — consult a qualified and trusted scholar. You are responsible for how you act on anything you read here.

3. Accuracy and limitations

AI systems can misread, omit, or misrepresent material, and our library does not cover every topic. Answers may be incomplete or contain errors. Always verify important matters against the cited sources and with qualified scholars. The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Baseera to break the law; to harass, deceive, or harm others; to misrepresent its answers as scholarly rulings or as the position of any scholar or institution; to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the service; or to scrape or bulk-extract its content.

5. Sources and intellectual property

Baseera references material from islamqa.info and from published Islamic works. All rights in that material remain with their respective authors, translators, and publishers; we link to originals where available. Baseera's own name, design, and code remain ours. If you hold rights in material you believe is used improperly, please contact us and we will review it promptly.

6. Availability

The service is free and offered without guarantee of availability. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Baseera and its founders are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the service or its answers.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
